How to do your first inventorySo machen Sie Ihre erste Inventur

Count everything you have on the shelves so the system knows your real stock. You photograph each product’s barcode and expiry date (MHD), enter how many you have, and iOMS books it onto the right product from your catalogue — automatically.Zählen Sie alles, was in Ihren Regalen steht, damit das System Ihren echten Bestand kennt. When your catalogue has products but no counted stock, the dashboard greets you with “Do your inventory first”. Click Start scanning — it takes you straight to the counting screen.Wenn Ihr Katalog Produkte enthält, aber noch kein Bestand gezählt wurde, begrüßt Sie das Dashboard mit „Zuerst Inventur machen". Klicken Sie auf Scannen starten — Sie landen direkt auf dem Zählbildschirm.

Closed it by accident?Aus Versehen geschlossen?No problem — the “Getting started — 3 steps” card stays on the dashboard until your first stock is booked. Receive stock — one page for every methodWareneingang — eine Seite für alle Wege

Everything happens on the Receive stock page. The card at the top offers four ways to add stock — for inventory, use Scan barcodes:Alles passiert auf der Seite Ware annehmen. Die Karte oben bietet vier Wege, Bestand zu erfassen — für die Inventur nutzen Sie Barcodes scannen:

The Scan & count stock panel opens. Stand at the shelf, pick up the first product, and click Take Photo. Photograph the side of the box where the barcode and the expiry date (MHD) are printed — both in one picture if possible.Das Fenster Scannen & Bestand zählen öffnet sich. Good photos = good reads.Gute Fotos = gute Erkennung.Hold the camera straight, fill the frame with the label, avoid glare. If the barcode and MHD are on different sides, photograph the barcode side — you can type the MHD by hand in the next step.Kamera gerade halten, das Etikett formatfüllend aufnehmen, Spiegelungen vermeiden. Check what the system readPrüfen, was das System gelesen hat

After a few seconds the system shows what it read from your photo: the barcode, the product name, the size, and the expiry date. It then finds the matching product in your catalogue:Nach wenigen Sekunden zeigt das System, was es aus Ihrem Foto gelesen hat: Barcode, Produktname, Größe und MHD. If the barcode matches exactly, the product is linked automatically — nothing to do.Stimmt der Barcode exakt überein, wird das Produkt automatisch verknüpft — nichts zu tun.
If the barcode is unclear, you get a short list — tap the correct product (the % shows how sure the system is).Ist der Barcode unklar, erscheint eine kurze Liste — tippen Sie das richtige Produkt an (die % zeigen, wie sicher das System ist).

Count and enter the quantityZählen und Menge eingeben

Count how many units of this product are on the shelf and type the number into Quantity received. The Expiry (MHD) below it is already filled from the photo — check it, correct it if needed, or type it if the photo missed it.Zählen Sie, wie viele Einheiten dieses Produkts im Regal stehen, und tragen Sie die Zahl bei Erhaltene Menge ein. Different expiry dates on the shelf?Verschiedene MHDs im Regal?Book them separately: first scan → quantity of the older MHD, then “Scan next” and book the newer MHD as its own batch. iOMS always sells the oldest first (FEFO).Buchen Sie sie getrennt: erster Scan → Menge des älteren MHD, dann „Weiter scannen" und das neuere MHD als eigene Charge buchen. iOMS verkauft immer zuerst das Älteste (FEFO).

Click Scan next and continue with the next product — photo, check, count, save — shelf by shelf through the store. When you’re done (or want a break), click Done: you land back on the Receive stock page, where Recent inbound lists everything you booked. Every scan is saved immediately, so stopping mid-way never loses anything.Klicken Sie auf Weiter scannen und machen Sie mit dem nächsten Produkt weiter — Foto, prüfen, zählen, speichern — Regal für Regal durch den Laden. No barcode? Use manual entryKein Barcode? Manuelle Eingabe

For loose goods or products without a barcode, click Manual Entry on the Receive stock page. An empty item card opens: start typing the product name (the system suggests from your catalogue), enter quantity, price, and MHD, then save. You can also add the EAN here so future scans match automatically.Für lose Ware oder Produkte ohne Barcode klicken Sie auf der Wareneingangsseite auf Manuelle Eingabe. Eine leere Artikelkarte öffnet sich: Produktname eintippen (das System schlägt aus Ihrem Katalog vor), Menge, Preis und MHD eingeben, speichern.
